Who We Are

TGP Advisors is a law firm engaged in the practice of taxation, corporate and business laws, and related advisory. The firm has offices in Chandigarh, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru, and advises clients across India on matters of direct and indirect taxation, corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.

The firm was founded by Gurmohan Singh, a business law advisor with experience across corporate transactions, commercial contracts, real estate, and regulatory matters. The firm's tax practice is led by Tejmohan Singh, an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana since 1994, with over three decades of practice in direct and indirect taxation. Parampreet Singh, a Chartered Accountant, anchors the firm's tax and financial compliance advisory.

This combination, a business law advisor, a practising tax advocate with thirty years of experience, and a Chartered Accountant, is deliberate. Many matters in taxation, corporate law, and business advisory sit at the intersection of law and finance. TGP's structure allows the firm to address these matters in an integrated manner, without the client needing to coordinate separate legal and accounting advisors.

What We Do

Our Practice

The firm's practice spans direct taxation, income tax planning, assessment proceedings, and appellate representation before the CIT(A) and ITAT and indirect taxation including GST advisory, compliance, departmental proceedings, and appellate matters. The firm has handled legacy service tax matters before CESTAT.

On the corporate and business law side, the firm advises on company and LLP formations, shareholder and joint venture agreements, corporate governance, FEMA compliance, and commercial contracts. The firm conducts legal due diligence on transactions and advises on the legal structuring of mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

The firm's real estate practice covers title due diligence, development agreements, RERA advisory, and leasing across residential and commercial projects, with particular familiarity with the Karnataka market. The firm also advises on regulatory and labour law compliance for manufacturing and construction businesses.

How We Work

Our Approach

TGP Advisors operates as a focused practice. The firm takes on a defined range of matters and handles each with the direct involvement of senior advisors. Clients are not passed through a chain, the person instructed is the person who does the work and who the client deals with throughout.

The firm works both on specific matter instructions and on General Counsel retainer arrangements, where TGP provides integrated ongoing legal and advisory support to businesses that need regular legal counsel without a full-time in-house legal team. The firm currently serves several businesses in this capacity, across construction, manufacturing, and technology.

Advice is provided in the context of the commercial and operational reality of each client. We are straightforward about the scope and limits of our advice, and transparent about where a matter may require specialist input beyond our practice areas.
